Dear Mr. Webster,
I’m inspired and privileged to be part of a John Maxwell program called #ChangeYourWorld. Last week our small group explored integrity in depth. #Integrity is one of your best words–an amazing quality that your dictionary calls:
- adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty
- the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished
- a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition
I’d like your dictionary to please consider ADDING to your definition:
inteGRITTY
[inˈteɡrədē]
NOUN
- the ability to #integrate and connect one’s authentic self to others i.e. integrity must have an impact on others around us
- the continuous development of integrity i.e. requires honest reflection, occasional hard work, and #grit
Thanks for considering! I’d understand though if you didn’t want to change the official spelling 🙂
